ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) — Michele Thompson looks forward to helping her two daughters with their homework. But more than a month into the new school year there's a major problem. Her daughters still didn't have books to bring home to do their homework. She believes other kids at the school are in the same boat. Students could use books in the classroom, but couldn't take them home.

Mrs. Thompson says the rest of the students were given their books on Friday a little earlier than the school district thought they would.

Still, if you're a parent with a student in a St. Louis public school that doesn't have enough take home books for kids, let me point you to someone to help solve the problem. St. Louis Schools Superintendent Kelvin Adams. Here's his phone number: 314-345-2500.
