An East St. Louis track coach faces sexual abuse charges involving a teenaged boy.

Police say the alleged abuse did not take place at school.

Police say 33-year-old Earlest Johnson has cooperated with their investigation and confessed to the crimes, two incidents involving one victim.

Police say he would cut hair in his basement on 75th Street and came in contact with several juveniles that way. They want to hear from any other potential victims.

Police say Johnson coached track at East St. Louis High School but did not want to go into detail about the sexual abuse but say it happened late last summer.

They want parents whose children came in contact with Johnson to talk with them.

Police say when Johnson turns himself in he will be held on a $250,000 bond.
