Proposed Sales Tax To Pay For Arch Improvements

 A proposed sales tax increase is aimed at paying for arch improvements. The bill is moving through the Missouri legislature would allow you to vote on raising the sales tax in St. Louis city, St. Louis county and St. Charles county.

The sales tax would increase by three-sixteenths of a cent. It could be on the ballot as early as November. The money would fund much of the improvements planned to the St. Louis riverfront and the gateway arch grounds.
