Mobile Markets Come to Metro Link Stops
It is a partnership between Metro and the Sappington Farmers Market to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to parts of town where they can be hard to find. The markets will be held at several Metrolink and Metro bus locations, and will feature seasonal locally grown produce once a week.
Along with fruits and vegetables the mobile market will also be selling eggs, jams and jellies, relishes, and fresh bread.
The markets will be a several Metrolink stations and will feature seasonal, locally grown produce once a week. Here’s the schedule:
Tuesday: Delmar Loop Station 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday: Riverview-Hall Street Transit Center 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Wednesday: North Hanley Metrolink 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Fridays: Emerson Park Metrolink Station in East St. Louis 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
