Train Crashes Into Abandoned Car In Clarksville, MO

Clarksville, MO (KTVI) – At around 7:00am on Thursday A BNSF train traveling northbound struck a parked car near Clarksville, MO.  The accident happened just two miles south of town just off highway 79.

Investigators found that the car was unoccupied.  The car belongs to 77-year-old James Adams.  He had been reported missing just a few hours before the accident with the train. Adams suffers from some form of dementia. He was found walking approximately one and a half miles West of the crash by the  Clarksville Fire Department.
