Blues shutout Sharks 3-0, Tie Series 1-1

The Blues got back into their playoff series with a dominant 3-0 win over the San Jose Sharks in Game 2. Vladimir Sobotka, David Backes and Andy McDonald scored the goals for the Blues.

Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliott stopped all 29 San Jose shots to get the shutout. Halak left the game in the second period after being run into by teammate Barret Jackman. Elliott then took over and kept the shutout going.

The best of seven series is tied at one game apiece. Game three is Monday night in San Jose.
