(KTVI) - It may soon cost students to ride school buses in Illinois. The State Board Of Education is considering a proposal to let schools stop offering free bus service. They could either get rid of the buses or charge a fee.
The Illinois Association Of School Boards says school districts have slashed transportation spending 42 percent since 2010.
