Fuel Spill Shuts Down I-55

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- A ruptured fuel line on a tractor trailer closed Interstate 55 northbound Tuesday afternoon at 7th street.

The lanes were closed while MoDOT and the St. Louis Fire Department cleaned up 130 gallons of diesel fuel that spilled onto the roadway.

All lanes re-opened just after 1:30 p.m.
