Nelly & Lindenwood University Grant Scholarships

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Graduating high school and going to college isn’t just a black and white proposition.

There’s a lot of variables like choosing a school, a major, the application and then trying to find the money to make it happen. But now thanks to Nelly it is a little easier. He wants to help you get there.

Four years ago at Nelly’s annual Black & White Ball Lindenwood University announced they would award two, four-year and full-tuition scholarships as they partnered up with Nelly.

On Wednesday, for the fourth year in a row, a couple of students got the good news from the superstar.

The scholarships applications were distributed to all high schools in the St. Louis area and students had to write a 200 or 300 page essay describing their academic success, leadership and financial need.
