On the Jaco Report.  Charles sits down with Dr. Franklin McCallie, a man who some critics say represents everything wrong with American Public Education.  His supporters, including generations of students and parents say his campaigns for tolerance against racism and homophobia are part of what made him a great educator.  Is activism incompatible with the public schools?  Former Kirkwood Principal Dr. Franklin McCallie thinks not.

Also, St. Louis helps lead the effort to catalogue all of the world’s plants before they go extinct.  We talk to the folks at the Missouri Botanical Garden about their role in a Global Science Project.
