New Book By Dave And Janis Murray Explains Weather To Kids

(KTVI) – FOX 2 Chief Meteorologist Dave Murray and his wife, Janis Murray, have co-authored a new book that helps kids learn about weather. In Graham and Jet Get Wet: The Wonders of Weather, a young boy named Graham experiences a big thunderstorm he doesn’t understand. His friend, Jet, a hawk, flies him into the storm to explain it and its power. The book is geared to help kids understand weather, so they won’t be so afraid.

The book was illustrated by Tony Waters and published by Reedy Press. The book retails for $16.95 and is available online at Reedy Press, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Nobel.com. The book is also available at all area bookstores and Schnucks and Dierberg’s markets.

Dave Murray has created some explanatory videos to go along with the book:
