The latest forecast from FOX 2 Chief Meteorologist Dave Murray:

Partly sunny…windy and warm
Winds: south 15-30 m.P.H.
High: 89 degrees. (Record 92-1949)

Thursday night:

Partly cloudy–mild..A few spot storms…late night…especially STL and points north
Winds: south 5-15 m.P.H.
Low: 70 degrees

Partly sunny…breezy and warm…a few spot storms…especially in the morning
Winds: south 10-20 m.P.H
High: 89 degrees.

Upper 80’s and partly sunny on Saturday…a few scattered storms on Sunday

The weather disco:

Little change in the overall pattern…more like early summer than anything else…and a break in the active thunderstorm pattern…as the jet stream lifts to the north and a summer flow from the south takes solid control.. A front will stage in from the north Thursday night…think late Thursday night…more of an out-flow boundary than a front…the front never makes it to STL…but close enough that we have to watch it for a few spot storms late Thursday night and into Friday morning…spot the key word…but where they fire…especially…STL and points north…they could be strong to severe…pulse type summer storms.

My summer forecast will be out Thursday…may 17th…9:30pm on fox 2…on the web a little after 10pm that night.
