The St.Louis Blues season ended in Los Angeles on Sunday with a 3-1 loss to the Kings. The Blues were swept four straight games in the best-of-seven series. Kings goalie Jonathan Quick stopped 96 of 102 shots in the series. The Blues were outscored by the Kings 15-6 as they were swept in the post-season for the tenth time in franchise history.

Blues Coach Ken Hitchcock pointed to the Blues home record in the playoffs (2-3) as one of the reasons they came up short of their Stanley Cup goal. The Kings, meantime, are rolling with an 8-1 record in the playoffs. Kevin Shattenkirk had the Blues lone goal in Sunday’s loss.
