Man Taken Into Custody After Standoff Ends In Hillsdale

HILLSDALE, MO (KTVI)– A standoff has ended after a man barricaded himself inside a home in Hillsdale.

It began around noon Monday in the 2100 block of 67th Street.

Authorities said the standoff started with a wanted man verbally attacking street crews while carrying a machete.

Police say the suspect has outstanding warrants.

A tactical team found him hiding in a bedroom. He was taken into custody without incident.
