Craig Could Wind Up On DL

Allen Craig could wind up back on the disabled list after injuring his hamstring in Wednesday’s win against the San Francisco Giants.

Craig grabbed his left hamstring after diving for a ball in the outfield on Wednesday. He was not in the lineup on Thursday. His loss would further complicate the issue in the outfield with Jon Jay already on the D-L and Carlos Beltran limited. Beltran pinch-hit on Thursday, but he was out of the starting lineup for the fourth straight game as he dealt with knee soreness and some foot problems. It does appear that Beltran will avoid the DL.
