Family Of Hit And Run Victim Increases Reward For Arrest

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– The family of Amber Woods has raised the reward in the search for the person responsible for her death.

Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward in the April 27th hit-and-run that killed Amber. Now her family is offering a $1,500 reward.

Amber was crossing South Broadway near the Broadway Oyster Bar just before 2:00 a.m. when she was hit and killed by a Pontiac Grand AM.

The car was found later that day in a Madison, Illinois salvage yard.

The owner of the car, Eric Peterson, has been charged with obstruction but not with Amber’s death.
