Rib America is gone, replaced by Blues Fest at Soldier's Memorial.
The Bluesweek Festival is moving from August, helping fill out Memorial Day weekend, and it is returning with big names and more stages.
The event is free.
Last year there were mostly St. Louis bands. This year there are 50 bands, twice as many and from around the country, including:

- Shemekia Copeland
- Cedric Burnside
- Big George Brock
- a trio of Boo Boo Davis
- Chainsaw Dupont
- Arthur Williams

Part of the revenue from the Bluesweek Festival will go to the National Blues Museum.
