ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Are you thinking about starting your own business?  Well, you’re in the right town.  Comptroller Darlene Green and Business Coach Sandra Marks of Marks and Associates were on the mid day show to discuss initiatives by St. Louis city to help kickstart businesses.

St. Louis is one of the 10 Great Cities for Starting a Business according to the Kiplinger Report from 2011.  Currently, there are 47,241 small businesses in St. Louis.

Nonprofit lenders like Justine Petersen help small businesses get off the ground with low interest loans. Justine Petersen has partnerships with banks in the area, for more information call 314-533-2411.
