ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - In the most recent shooting, a 29-year-old man was shot in the stomach in north St. Louis around midnight on Lucille and Riverview.

Witnesses tell police they saw three women running from the scene.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, but his condition is unknown.

In the other shooting, a gunman who shot and killed a man Sunday in north St. Louis is still on the loose Monday morning.

An 18-year-old victim was shot in the head and left to die in an alley at Emma and Mimika around 1:45am Sunday.

The shooting  was less than a block away from the Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Church members are shaken that the murder took place so close to their house of worship.

James Hornbuckle is a church deacon and said, “There's a lot of drugs and stuff around. The children want to lean more to that than they do to wanting to come to church."

Neighbor Sam Dean added, "We're killing each other off, man, for what reason?"

So far, police have not released the 18-year-old victim's identity.
