(KTVI) – Bullying has been brought to the forefront recently by high-profile media attention, much of which started with the suicide of 13-year-old Megan Meier in 2006.
Megan believed she was messaging a boy her age on MySpace, but those messages turned out to be written by a mother of a former classmate of Megan’s. After the messages turned mean, Megan took her own life.
Tuesday, the Missouri Supreme Court struck down part of Megan’s anti-stalking and harassment law that was established in 2008. Megan’s mother, Tina, talks about the changes.
