Suspect In Campground Beating Turns Himself Into Police

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO (KTVI)-A Sullivan man accused of brutally beating a man in Franklin County has turned himself into police. Joshua Lueken, 32, surrendered Thursday night at around 11:30pm. He is currently behind bars in the Franklin County Jail.

Over the Memorial Day Weekend holiday, Jeff Pemberton, a worker at a campground, was beaten beyond recognition.  The beatings happened near Sullivan, Missouri, early Sunday.

Pemberton suffered wounds to his ear, eyes, jaw, head, nose, arms, legs, and shoulder. He said he was experiencing partial vision and hearing loss.

Lueken has been charged with assault and other various charges .
