COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (CNN) - It's not uncommon for hail to roll through Colorado in June. In fact, it's a peak month for severe weather. But even this is hard to believe. Hail submerged cars and rain and hail had nowhere to go fast.
Dozens of vehicles were abandoned Wednesday night in a mix of water and ice several feet deep. But that wasn't the only Colorado city hit by wild weather. The National Weather Service confirmed six tornadoes touched down throughout the state. There were no reports of any injuries.
