TROY, MO (KTVI) – An airplane crash landed in Lincoln County Sunday morning, just south of Troy on Myers Road.

The single engine plane had just lifted off from Greensfield Airport when the pilot says a gust of wind pushed the plane back down to the runway. The plane then lost its front wheel, crossed Myers Road and stopped in a ditch on the roadway.

The pilot and two passengers from Texas were not hurt.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
