Metro’s Most Wanted: Bank Robbery, Death Investigation
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– Another bank robber is on the run, and the investigation into the death of an area woman may only be a tip away from ending in an arrest.
Police are still on the lookout for the guy who hit the US Bank on Southwest Avenue in south city Monday. He strutted in his Cardinal cap, playing it cool, but investigators say while he was standing there striking a pose, he`d just handed the teller a note demanding cash. He never showed a gun, but cops say he told the teller there was one in his car. Who robs a bank and leaves the gun in their car? Anyway, he`s a black male with a light complexion, and you can see the blue shirt. He was wearing khaki pants and grey tennis shoes too.
City police are still trying to land more information in the hit and run case that left Amber Wood, 23, dead back in April.
Wood and two friends were crossing Broadway on the way to the Broadway Oyster Bar early in the morning of April 27th. Police say Eric Peterson, 29, is the owner of the car, but they’ve not been able to prove who was driving. Peterson is charged with obstruction of justice. Police are still trying to find more information on who was driving.
If you have any information on either of these cases, there could be a reward in it for you. Call Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
