(CNN) - A new study shows you're more likely to die on your birthday than any other day.  Swiss researcher’s analyzed 2.4 million deaths over a forty year period and results showed a nearly 14 percent jump of deaths on birthdays.

That risk increased with age, jumping to 18 percent in people over the age of sixty.
The numbers show you're more likely to die from a heart attack, stroke, fatal fall or other accidental death on your birthday.

One possible reason for the increased risk of death, the stress of getting older.
