Chet Pleban: Teen’s Hair Cut in Court as Punishment
(KTVI) – When is “An eye for an eye” appropriate? A judge in Utah ordered the hair of a 13-year-old cut on the spot in court. The teenager and a friend were accused of cutting the hair of a 3-year-old without the parent’s permission.
The judge ordered the accused teens mom to cut her ponytail off right there in exchange for a reduced sentence. The mom did an now regrets it, saying she was intimidated in court.
