Man Murdered In South St. Louis Overnight; Woman Hospitalized

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – It was a gruesome scene overnight in south city after a double shooting left one man dead and a woman seriously hurt.
Investigators tell us nobody is in custody at this point and they have very little information on who the killer might be.
Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital but there wasn`t much they could do about the man who was shot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. He is 26 years old and was shot multiple times in the face and chest.  The woman who survived is 20 years old.  She was shot three times in the back.

The shooting happened around 11:30pm Wednesday night in front of a home at Louisiana and Dunnica.
We`re told the victims were on the sidewalk when the shots rang out.
The female victim is listed in serious but stable condition.
No names have been released.
Investigators are looking for a red Pontiac G-6 that was seen speeding away from the scene.
Detectives aren`t sure if this was a drive by shooting or if someone got out of the car and opened fire then sped off.
St. Louis police are also looking for suspects in connection with a north city shooting.
This one happened around midnight on Gamble.
In that case, a 25-year-old man was shot at least three times.
He was rushed to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Authorities have no suspect information we are told this shooting is not connected with the incident in south city.
