THE INTENSE SUMMER HEAT WAVE TAKES US THROUGH THE HOLIDAY WEEK…TEMPS WILL PULL BACK SLIGHTLY…THANKS TO THE ADDED HUMIDITY…BUT HOT IS HOT AND IT WILL FEEL MORE LIKE STL. WE ARE NOT IN THE DESERT SOUTHWEST HEAT ANYMORE…THE GULF HAS OPENED UP…AND WITH THE BUMP UP IN THE HUMIDITY…WE GET TO ADD IN SCATTERED STORMS…NOT FOR EVERYONE…BUT WHERE THEY POP…MAINLY AFTERNOON…THERE WILL BE HEAVY RAIN, COOLING TEMPS, HAIL AND LIGHTNING…ATLEAST IT IS SOMETHING. THIS TREND WILL HOLD ALL WEEK LONG…FOLKS ASKING ABOUT A BREAK…WHEN IT COMES…AND NOT IN SIGHT RIGHT NOW…IT WILL BE WITH A BANG…LOOK NORTH FOR A STRONG COOL FRONT OR STORM FROM LEFT OVER TROPICAL ACTION…RIGHT NOW…THERE IS A FRONT TO THE NORTH AND THERE IS TROPICAL ACTION IN THE WESTERN GULF…BUT THE HIGH PRESSURE IS TOO STRONG…WE HAVE TO GIVE THIS MORE TIME. IF YOUR GOING AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAY…HAVE FUN…BE SAFE…WATCH THE SKIES AND STAY COOL.  HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
