THE DOME OF SUMMER IS IN SOLID CONTROL…REALLY SIGNS THAT IT IS GETTING STRONGER OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND STAYS LOCKED IN…PRETTY AMAZING…SO ITS MORE OF THE SAME…WITH NEAR TO POSSIBLE RECORD HEAT…THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY:
RECORDS:
THURSDAY………..102 1936
FRIDAY…………….102 1936
SATURDAY………..103 1936
SUNDAY……………101 1980

THE HUMIDITY HAS PULLED BACK ONCE AGAIN…AS THE DOME OF HIGH PRESSURE MUSCLES IN AND MOVES A LITTLE MORE TO THE WEST…SO THE GULF OF MEXICO GETS SHUT OFF AGAIN…OUR WINDS…MORE WET…BLOWING OVER THE HEAT AND DROUGH CONDITONS OF THE PLAINS…THIS DRIER HEAT…ALLOWS FOR HOTTER DAYTIME TEMPS…THE REASON FOR THE RECORDS…NO CLOUDS…NO STORMS…A SINKING MOTION IN THE ATMSOPHERE…HOWEVER…LATE NIGHT…THE DRY AIR ALOOWS A COOL DOWN INTO THE 70’S…THATS IMPORTANT IN A HEAT WAVE LIKE THIS…AT LEAST A 4 TO 6 HOUR BREAK OF THE BIULDING HEAT…WE LOOK FOR A STRONG COLD FRONT TO CUT IN NEXT WEEK…ODDS ARE POINTING TO EARLY TO MID NEXT WEEK…WITH SOME RAIN AND A STEADY COOL DOWN IN TEMPERATURE…THE QUESTION IS…IS THIS A SOLID BREAK OR WILL THE HIGH PRESSURE DIG BACK IN. THE HIGH WILL PUSH IT BACK TO THE WEST…THE PLAINS AND THE ROCKIES…WHERE HOPEFULLY IT WILL STAY FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER….SO AT LEAST THERE IS SOME HOPE NEXT WEEK.
