CENTRAL WEST END (KTVI)-You Decide 2012:  it's the one Missouri political race that's taking center stage nationally.  Control of the U.S. Senate may depend on what happens in the Show Me State.  Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill wrapped up her 24 stop RV tour in St. Louis Saturday.  Though Republicans have yet to choose her opponent, she’s already facing a big battle to hang onto her job.

McCaskill claims big oil and insurance companies have secretly poured more tham $7.5 million into attack ads airing in Missouri and that the people in those ads are actors, no actual citizens of the state.

The Senator is plotting a grass-roots counter attack, asking for volunteers at her campaign stops.

McCaskill christened the new Missouri Democratice Party campaign office in the Central West End during her stop.  She is planning another trip around the state by RV for August.

Republicans will nominate a candidate to oppose McCaskill in the August 7th primary.
