(KTVI) – The St. Louis Rams’ 2011 first-round draft pick was arrested on DWI charges earlier this month.
The Florissant Police Department said around 5:30 a.m. on July 10 officers responded to a single car crash on the exit ramp of eastbound Interstate 270 at Washington/Elizabeth. The officers suspected that the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash, Robert Quinn, was intoxicated.
Quinn was arrested and transported to the station, where he cooperated fully with the arresting officer.
The Defensive End from North Carolina was charged with a DWI and released the same night after posting a cash bond.
Quinn was not injured in the crash.
The St. Louis Rams released this statement: “The Rams and the NFL office are aware of the situation regarding Robert Quinn. We take such matters very seriously, and we will act accordingly once the legal process plays out.”
