Cooler Weather Music To Concert-Goers’ Ears

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI) – The break in the heat came just at the right time for fans at an all-day concert at Verizon Wireless Friday.

The forecast was music to their ears.

Drivers can expect longer than usual lines when leaving the concert. MoDOT will close two westbound lanes of Interstate 70 over the Earth City Expressway at 7:00pm Friday.

There will also be some ramp closures in that area as well.

The work is part of the Blanchette Bridge expansion.

The closures will run until 5:00 am Monday.

There will be more headaches on I-70 over the Poplar Street Bridge where westbound lanes are also closed for roadwork.
