Warrants Issued For Murder Of St. Louis Man

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Carvaughn Guthrie, 18 is a suspect in the murder of 21-year old Anthony Avery of St. Louis. The Circuit Attorney’s Office issued warrants for first degree murder and armed criminal action.
On Saturday at about 10:50pm police were responding to a call for a robbery on the 2800 block of Minnesota street. While investigating the robbery they heard shots fired a block over on Pennslyvania. When police checked out the gun shots they found Anthony Avery, 21 dead. They believe the robbery and the murder are connected. The suspect Carvaughn Guthrie lives in the 2800 block of Minnesota street.
The judge ordered the suspect, Carvaughn Guthrie to be held without bond.
