Reed Johnson’s bunt single in the 7th inning sparked the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 win over the Cardinals on Saturday. The win by the Cubs broke the Cards 4 game win streak. Cardinals starter Joe Kelly (1-4) had a solid performance by going 6 1/3 innings, while allowing 3 earned runs. In the bottom of 7th inning with the game tied at 2, Johnson placed the bunt down the 3rd base line. Tony Campana raced home.  Johnson made it to first base without a throw.Skip Shumaker and Daniel Descalso had 2 hits each for the Cardinals. The Redbirds fall 6 and half games behind the Cincinnati Reds in the National League Central with the loss.
