LONG ISLAND, NY. (CNN) – It wasn’t a good day to take a flight in parts of New York Monday.  An F-15 fighter jet intercepted an aircraft and forced it to land after it entered the President’s airspace over Long Island.  The small plane was flying too close to the Air Force One.
Police met the pilot on the ground.

Not long after this incident, another aircraft violated the temporary flight restriction near New Haven, Connecticut.  That plane was allowed to continue to its destination after being cleared by officials.
