Helmet Cam Shows How Firefighters Saved Victims Of Apt. Fire

ST. CHARLES, MO. (KTVI) – FOX2 has obtained video from a St. Charles firefighter helmet camera that shows a fire victim being rescued.  The fire was Saturday in the 800 block of Spring Ave.

Jackie Hamilton was stuck on the second floor.

“I could not see and was coughing and could not find the way out,” she said.

Two firefighters located Hamilton.

“They got there just in time,” she said. “They saved my life.”

Jackie got to thank the firefighters in person Wednesday.

“It is great to thank these heroes,” she said.
