St. Louis County Reports 4th Heat-Related Death

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The medical examiner has confirmed St. Louis County’s fourth heat-related death.  The 76-year-old victim was found in his home on July 10 by his son.

According to the medical examiner, the victim’s window air conditioner was not working. He lived in the 700 block of Military Drive in a brick home. The temperature inside the home was estimated to be between 90 and 95 degrees. 

At last count, St. Louis City reported 17 hear-related deaths. Madison County in Illinois reported two.
