ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The Rams announced on Monday that they will not be playing regular season games in London in 2013 and 2014. This past off season, the Rams announced that they would be playing three of their home games in London over the next three season, one game per season in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Now just the game this season will be played in London, when the Rams play the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium.
The reason for dropping the two games in London? The Rams and the city of St. Louis are in arbitration over the current lease at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams as an act of good faith and to stay in compliance with their current lease decided to inform the NFL of their decision to not play games in London in 2013 and 2014.
