The Whole Kids Foundation is part of Whole Foods Market. It operates as an independent non profit organization and works at empowering schools and inspiring families to help kids learn about nutritious food.
There is a fundraising program at the stores to promote salad bars and garden grants. Donations will be collected at check out.
Collard Green Hummus Wraps
- 1 Bunch of Collard Greens
- 1 tub of hummus - Whole Foods Brand Roasted Red Pepper
- 1 container of broccoli slaw or any other shredded veggies
Wash and dry each collard leaf. Lay one leaf flat on a cutting board and cut along the stem on both sides to de-stem and make 2 separate leaves for wrapping. Spread hummus on each leaf and sprinkle with shredded veggies. Roll up and serve whole or cut in 1 inch pieces.
