Train Strikes Car In Belleville, Driver Unhurt

BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) –It was a close call on the railroad tracks in Belleville, IL Friday night. A train hit a car at the North Belt West crossing at Freedom Drive around 8:00pm. Police believe the driver was trying to outrun the train but, amazingly, the driver was not hurt.
