NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI)- In July, Larry Sain was shot to death in the middle of the street.  The killer is still at large. Sain's wife and children held a car wash Saturday, a car wash saddening and uplifting all at once. Larry Sain's 7-year -old, Larry Junior, worked the hose. His daughter, Lauren, just turned 15. Sain's wife is expecting their third child, a boy.

"I'm going to give him his father`s middle name, Cornelius," said his widow.

Police say someone shot and killed Larry Sain at Riverview and Lalite on July 19, 2012. There is still no word on motive. The car wash helped raise money for burial expenses and a reward, which Sain`s family hopes to build to at least $5,000.

Police still need somebody to come forward with information. The family is pleading for information in the case.

"Please help us bring justice for Larry Sain. It hurts so bad. I have to wake up every morning and look in my children's face before they go to school and they're looking for their dad.," said Kishea Sain.  "I don`t know how to cope with that every morning, but I do. I do and it hurts."
