Mobile Warning Siren Coming To St. Charles
ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)-St. Charles has a new tool to use when it comes to severe weather: a mobile warning siren. If a permanent siren is broken or residents say they can’t hear the alerts, the mobile siren can be brought in to fill the gap.
The city is touting the new siren an important enhancement to the city’s safety, not only for residents and business owners, but also for visitors.
The siren can be activated remotely, like other sirens in the county.
