Police Investigating Bank Robbery In New Baden

NEW BADEN, IL. (KTVI) – Tuesday around 9:45 A.M. two masked men entered the First Federal Savings Bank in the 1200 Block of East Hanover in New Baden, Illinois.  The suspects produced a handgun and demanded money.  One suspect was reportedly wearing a white or light colored “hoodie” sweatshirt which appeared to have the word “AVILA,” on the front and blue jeans.  Suspect number 2 was reportedly wearing a dark colored “hoodie” sweatshirt and black sweat pants.  Both men fled via the bank on foot.  

No one was injured in the robbery..  

The robbery is under investigation by the New Baden Police Department and the FBI.  

The Clinton County Crime Stoppers has posted a reward leading to the arrest of the fugitives.
