Family Remembers Fallen Airman On 9/11

TROY, IL (KTVI)– A Troy, Illinois father paused to remember his son who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

Senior airman Bradley Smith was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan January 3, 2010.

He would have been 27 years old.

Gary Smith says his son decided to join the Air Force after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Airman Smith leaves behind a wife and daughter who was six weeks old when he was deployed.
