FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – Thieves hit at least two St. Louis car dealerships Thursday night, stealing at least 18 cars.
Friday afternoon, two different police agencies are investigating. Florissant police say five new cars were stolen from Johnny Londoff Chevrolet in Florissant.
Representatives from Lou Fusz say around a dozen cars were stolen from their dealership at Page and Lindbergh.
Both incidents happened overnight.
Florissant police and St. Louis County Police were both at Johnny Londoff’s investigating Friday morning.
Among the things they were looking at are a Saturn that was apparently stolen overnight from the Lou Fusz dealership at Page and Lindbergh. Somehow it wound up at Londoff’s.
Florissant police discovered the initial break in at Johnny Londoff’s about 5:15am Friday.
We’re told an officer noticed a hole in the fence, then a service department door that had been pushed in.
Police discovered offices ransacked inside the Londoff service department.
Over at Lou Fusz, a janitor found the initial problem around 2:40am when he discovered a car with a broken window and several keys on the lot.
Londoff officials say all of the stolen cars from their dealership have been recovered with the help of OnStar.
So far we know of no suspects in custody.
