Cardinals Win Game 1 Of The NLCS; 6-4
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTVI) – The Cardinals took a 2-0 lead in Game 1 of the NLCS thanks to a 2-run homerun by David Freese in the 2nd inning. The Cards added four more runs in the 4th on a Pete Kozma RBI double, a Jon Jay RBI single and a Carlos Beltran 2-run homer.
However, the Giants responded with four runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th to make it a 6-4 game.
Cards starter Lance Lynn went just 3 and two-thirds innings allowing 4 earned runs.
