Michigan Blasts the Illini 45-0

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more scores to lead the Wolverines to a 45-0 trouncing of the Illini on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Robinson becomes just the fourth quarterback in FBS history to run for four thousand career yards. Robinson gained 128 yards against Illinois to put him at 4,033 career yards rushing.

Illini quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase was knocked out of the game on a 2nd quarter hit. Scheelhaase suffered a concusion on the play and did not return. His replacement, Reilly O’Toole threw for just 25 yards.

The loss drops Illinois to 0-3 in Big Ten play and 2-5 overall.
