NORTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) An arrest has been made in connection to the fatal crash that killed a 23 year old woman and left four others, including a child, injured Saturday night in north St. Louis. It happened at the intersection of Lee and Fair just before 8:00pm. Police say at least two cars were involved.

St. Louis Police say their officers responded to a call of two cars chasing each other. When they tried to stop a white Chevy Impala involved, it fled and drove through a stop at Lee and Fair.  That’s when it slammed into a Ford Taurus being driven by a 23-year-old woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Taurus was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The Taurus struck two other cars. No one was injured.

After striking the other vehicle, the Impala struck a building. The driver was taken to an area hospital in stable condition and arrested. Charges are pending. A 23 year old female passenger and infant in the Impala were treated and released from the hospital.
