ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- We begin with the search for a south city man who police say may be on to a locker room racket at the local YMCA. Lonnie Richardson, 37, is the man police believe lifted at least one wallet from a YMCA locker room. But he didn't just steal cash. Cops tell us Lonnie managed to clone a credit card out of his victim's wallet.
From there, he did what anyone with a blank check would do, he headed to the Walmart for a shopping spree. The trouble is the Fenton Walmart, like all of them, has cameras and police say they caught Lonnie in the act.
Lonnie Richardson is 6'1" and 170 lbs. His last known address was on Iowa Street in south city. Cops intend for his next one to be the jail in Clayton.
And from the FBI, another case of a bank robber choosing his local grocery store branch over the traditional bank. This one happened in High Ridge in Jefferson County. It was October 5th when the suspect walked into the Schnucks store headed for the US Bank branch inside and handed over the demand note. Agents say he's a man, though it looks like he may have been trying to fool someone with that hair. Anyway, money was handed over, and the robber took off.
If you have information on either of these cases, police ask that you contact CrimeStoppers. The number is 866-371-TIPS, you will be anonymous and there could be a reward in it for you.
