Cardinals Biggest Fan Lane Goodwin Passes
(KTVI) – He’s been one of the Cardinals biggest fans, encouraging them in their playoff run; with a simple gesture, a thumbs up.
Sadly, Lane Goodwin lost his fight with cancer Wednesday night.
The 13-year-old superfan from Kentucky inspired many with his “Prayers for Lane Facebook Page.”
People around the world took part in a “Thumbs Up For Lane” campaign to encourage lane.
He wants his memory to live on in the name of a foundation to find a cure for childhood cancers.
During the game 2 of the NLDS at Busch Stadium on Monday night many fans were brandishing signs saying, #ThumbsUpForLane.
